Professional Engineers (P.E.’s) are required to obtain a minimum of 24 continuing education Professional Development Hours (PDH’s) in each two-year renewal cycle as a condition of license renewal.
The EGCR offers Professional Development Hours for the training courses provided at the annual Eastern Gas Compression Roundtable.
- EGCR classes are typically one and a half hour in length
- A 1-1/2 hour class will equate to 1.5 PDH’s
- A full day course (8am – 5pm with 1-hour for lunch) will equate to 8 PDH’s
Each of the EGCR classes will count towards a specific number of Professional Development Hours under your state’s Continuing Education Program. However, this does not imply that every State P.E. Board will recognize this presentation. It is the responsibility of the attendee to check with his or her state Board as they are the final authority.
Attendees are responsible for maintaining their own records. A “Passport” will be provided to each attendee that will be stamped by the instructor at the conclusion of the class. It is incumbent on the attendee to make sure that the Passport stamp is obtained before leaving class. The EGCR does not keep a record of class attendance and is not able to stamp a Passport after the class has ended.
